CPD Short Course: Making meaning with children (MMC26)
Overview
Join us for an enriching and practical CPD experience as we explore the process of making meaning with children. In response to challenges they face (or in our homes as parents or other care givers) we draw from their special knowledge, skills, dreams, hopes, playfulness to create meaning and possibility.

What You Will Explore
• Gain the knowledge to better mentor, counsel, parent children;
• Understanding the lifeworld of the child (mind, body, soul, environment) and what that means for those of significance in their lives;
• Develop sensitivity towards the spiritual development of the child and how that influences identity formation and belonging;
• Being able to spot and counter the effects of unhealthy discourses in the life of the child
• Acquire introductory but functional knowledge of ideas from narrative therapy and playful approaches.
