Practitioners
Welcome to our practitioner page. Here we share on a rotation basis some of our counsellors in the Coram Deo or affiliate counselling network. Current counsellors displayed here are all from the Pretoria and Centurion area. We have a significant network of counsellors and intern practitioners across the country. Most are also available for online counselling.

My name is Francette Bedford. I am a Registered Narrative Therapist with a deep passion for the transformative power of story, art, and language. I journey alongside individuals as they explore, re-author, and reclaim their life stories in ways that cultivate strength, clarity, and renewed purpose.
I believe the way we tell — and re-tell — our stories shapes our reality. The narratives we carry influence our relationships, our decisions, and our ability to live as active agents in the lives we long to create.
My work includes spiritual guidance, trauma counselling, and facilitating post-traumatic growth. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, abuse, and divorce, creating safe and compassionate spaces where pain can be processed, dignity restored, and new chapters courageously written.

Hi I am Surine du Randt, I am a dedicated Pastoral Narrative Therapist with a deep passion for people and their stories.
My approach is centered on helping individuals uncover and embrace their own rich narratives, guiding them toward healing, growth, and renewed purpose.
Through compassionate listening and meaningful conversations, I create a space where people can explore their experiences, rewrite limiting beliefs, and step into a future shaped by their values and strengths. There is hope in everyone’s story!

Nthabeleng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and has many years of experience working alongside people in contexts of learning, growth, and transition. Her professional background includes Human Resources, training and development, facilitation, and entrepreneurial skills training with a range of organisations.
She holds a certificate in pastoral narrative therapy and has volunteered for several years as a counselor and recovery group facilitator, supporting people as they explore the stories that shape their lives and reconnect with their values, strengths, and preferred ways of living.
She recently certified as an Integral Coach and brings a collaborative, reflective, and respectful approach to conversations that support people in discovering new possibilities for their lives and work.

Leonie Prinsloo is a narrative practitioner and narrative coach based in Pretoria, offering in-person and online conversations through her practice, Radical Impact.
The name reflects her approach: Radical (from radix, “root”) speaks to working with the deep stories, values, and meanings that shape a life, while Impact reflects the quiet, transformative shifts that emerge when people reconnect with agency, voice, and preferred identity.
Radical Impact exists to offer a space where stories can be seen, heard, and gently reimagined.

Hi, I am Vanessa Crous and I offer counselling sessions in both Afrikaans and English.
I’m not the kind of counsellor who hands out quick-fix advice or sits silently with a clipboard.
My work is collaborative. We slow down, look at what’s really happening beneath the surface, and explore your story, your values, and the beliefs that have been shaping your life.
I use a narrative counselling approach, one that’s respectful, gentle, and built on the belief that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to help you name the problems, see their influence, and begin rewriting the story in a way that reflects your strength and who you want to become.
