A needs-list
Introduction
Coram Deo considers George as a significant town for further development through which and along with local students and partners we want to advance and collaborate the agenda of healing/restoration. We are grateful for having been involved in training passionate counsellors in the area since 2016. It is now time to take the next steps towards making a difference in the community with those who have shown their commitment to healing by not only taking hands with Coram Deo but becoming Coram Deo.
Aim: Towards a George Coram Deo Pastoral Centre impacting the South Cape region and acting as regional hub in the South Cape.
Objectives:
The following phases are proposed for 2019.
- Business shower
- Centre launch
- Awareness campaign (intake 2020)
The following needs-list is prayerfully presented to anyone in the community, potential stakeholders, current strategic partnerships whose hearts beat with us regarding the healing/restoration of relationships, families, communities.
Coram Deo Pastoral Centre is registered and optimally positioned as a not-for-profit company (NPC), non-profit organisation (NPO able to issue Article 18A certificates) and a public benefit organisations (PBO).
In our initial phase we have identified the below needs. These are of importance since we are already busy in the area offering counselling services but do not have adequate facilities to create an inviting space for clients to get the help they need.
