Welcome to Coram Deo’s Durban network. Durban and KZN is a province in which we would still like to build capacity to allow us to offer programmes in the same format we do in other places. At this stage students need to enroll online but local reflection sessions are hosted throughout depending on enrolment numbers. Read more about our local representative in the province, Welly den Hollander. We will be happy to connect your. We have several regions who join the programme in this way where participants from the same region convene at one of the student’s home or place that we help secure for them (typically at a church but could be any appropriate place for gathering) and they attend online but as a local group. This builds capacity in different regions. Some examples include small groups in George, in Bloemfontein and a larger group attending online but from a local congregation in Swakopmund in Namibia.
Pastoral Narrative Therapy Durban
For our Pastoral Narrative Therapy programme. Please see the the information page and from there access enrollment forms. It is likely that in the area a format of both online and contact reflection sessions will be followed. This is however depending on interest on yearly basis which impacts the format of learning. For typical schedules and the way the programme is presented in different regions see this page.
Our primary offering in the area is a university accredited programme in pastoral narrative counselling that usually commences by the end of January each year. It is an advanced certificate but we start off with the very basics of a narrative approach.
